Industry and workforce development programs

NDIS Business Connect

NDIS Business Connect supports both new and existing sole traders and small businesses providing services to people with disability. Supporting all sole traders and small businesses that require assistance, with a focus on thin market areas, First Nation businesses, CALD businesses and organisations delivering in rural and remote locations.

The aim of the project is to improve the quality of the services and the safety of service environments to assist in ensuring people with disability have access to appropriate quality support services.

NDIS Business Connect works in partnership with industry, consumers and relevant stakeholders to identify and respond to challenges and opportunities, share information and resources and support systemic policy and advice.

Established as part of the Department of Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety Disability Peaks program, to deliver sector capacity and capability building for sole traders and small businesses in the disability sector.

Kylie is an accomplished senior
strategic project manager and leader
with a versatile skill set spanning workforce, industry, and
business development. She is a dynamic community and
stakeholder engagement specialist, backed by extensive
experience in cultivating meaningful relationships across
diverse stakeholder groups. Kylie is a skilled facilitator
and presenter, utilising participatory and co-design
methodologies for impactful engagement and outcomes
focused results.Kylie has over 15 years’ experience in
managing teams, leading capacity building projects and
advancing the community services workforce planning
and development capability, often with a focus on regional
level needs and solutions.
