Central Queensland First Nations Allied Health Professional
I am very grateful that I recently met Alina Khalid at the APNA conference. We have only had 2 meetings so far and I hope that the support will continue for some time to come as I seek to establish and gain momentum with my business. Alina has introduced me to some key supports that I am eligible to engage with. Beforehand I had not heard of these services, and I will engage with each of them. Alina has provided practical information, however equally importantly, has provided encouragement to me on the progress I have made as a new business operator. Starting a business as an independent nurse consultant is a somewhat lonely process and it feels like I suddenly have someone in my corner looking out for me and helping me to navigate a path forward. Thank you, Alina.
Brisbane, Nurse Consultant
On behalf of the team, thank you so much for the time and energy you’ve put into developing our draft Workforce Plan. It was a pleasure connecting with you, and we appreciated the opportunity to collaborate and explore these important workforce priorities together. The document is so professionally presented—thank you. It’s clear a great deal of care has gone into aligning the plan with our Strategic Plan and the broader policy landscape. The action plan template and support request form are also appreciated and will be valuable tools as we continue our workforce development journey. Thanks again, Carissa. We greatly value your support and look forward to continuing this work together.”
