CheckUP’s Health Gateway team, in proud partnership with the Queensland Government’s Department of Health, recently hosted the 2025 #GoHealth Careers Expo – a flagship event connecting high school students with the diverse and rewarding world of health careers.

Held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, the event welcomed over 1,800 students from across Southeast Queensland, all eager to explore what it means to be part of Queensland’s healthcare system. From future doctors and nurses to allied health professionals, administrators, and support staff, students engaged with more than 60 exhibitors representing hospitals, universities, training providers, and health employers.

The energy on the day was electric as students participated in hands-on activities, watched live demonstrations, and spoke directly with passionate health professionals about their pathways, experiences, and advice for success in the industry. The Expo gave students valuable insights into the many opportunities available across Queensland Health and the broader health sector.
