Meet our team: Brianna Delacour
Brianna Delacour joined CheckUP as our North-North West Regional Coordinator in July and is working out of our Townsville office. Prior to joining CheckUP, Brianna spent six years working as an endorsed enrolled nurse in the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Sector.

What does a typical day look like for you?
On a work day, it involves coffee, getting my daughter off to daycare, coffee, getting to work, more coffee, going home and spending time with my family.
What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?
Being able to help work towards better health outcomes for my region. I also enjoy being able to travel to these locations and see first-hand what difference CheckUP is making
What are 3 words you would use to describe CheckUP?
Supportive, teamwork and ambitious.
Are there any major changes in the health sector or work that CheckUP undertakes that you have noticed since starting in your role?
Recently in my regions, I’ve noticed that more and more, providers and services are working collaboratively when visiting locations, particularly remote communities, to ensure there is no community fatigue and burnout on providers.
What activities do you enjoy when you’re not working?
I enjoy taking my daughter swimming or watching movies and spending as much time with her as possible.
