DESCRIPTION:Get ready an interactive\, immersive health career experience with simulated scenarios that brings healthcare to life! \nFind your passion at the 2025 #GoHealth Careers Expo. Register your attendance!\nGet ready an interactive\, immersive health career experience with simulated scenarios that brings healthcare to life! \nThis event is a unique collaboration between CheckUP’s Health Gateway to Industry Schools Program\, Queensland Health and health organisations across Queensland. Designed as an industry immersive event\, it will connect students with industry leaders and open doors to exciting jobs and careers in acute healthcare\, wellness health\, allied health and social services. \nThe expo features live demonstrations\, mock health facilities\, and information booths offering insights into school- based traineeships and work experience opportunities. Teachers won’t miss out\, with professional development sessions scheduled throughout the day. Parents are also invited to register and attend\, along with community members keen on discovering the diverse career opportunities within the health sector. \nThis invitation is extended to students in years 9\, 10\, 11 and 12. Schools are welcome to attend the upcoming #GoHealth Careers Expo at any time between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. To ensure your students have ample opportunity to explore the wide range of exhibitors\, interactive activities\, and presentations on offer\, we recommend allocating at least two hours for their visit. This will provide plenty of time to engage with industry professionals\, ask questions\, and discover the many career pathways in the health sector. As with last years’ event there will be no limit on the number of students who can attend from each school\, we do\, however\, ask that schools identify students with an interest in a career in healthcare. Each school must ensure adequate supervision of their students. \nWith so many career possibilities and as the largest employing industry in Queensland\, a career in health is a smart choice. \nSo\, will you join us at the 2025 #GoHealth Careers Expo and find your passion\, in health! \nTIPS FOR WHEN YOU ARE REGISTERING FOR THIS EVENT: \nWhen you are registering for this event click on ‘Get Tickets’ then select 1 ticket per school\, select Continue. On the following page enter your details and select Continue again. On the Ticket Info page indicate how many students will be attending the event. We do not require individual student names\, only the number of students that will be attending the event.   \n  \n* Those who do not wished to be photographed or filmed must advise the registration desk on arrival at the venue.\n \nThis event is proudly supported and funded by the Queensland Government.
